Athletics Walk / Run clinics are the perfect programs for the complete
novice to those who are looking for a safe and rewarding environment
to begin running again. Over the course of the clinics, you will
be introduced to a variety of topics that will be beneficial to
your growth as a runner / walker.

topics include:
Where
to start / Establishing a program
Sports Injuries
Stretching
Choosing the right shoe for you
Nutrition
Training with a heart rate monitor
Benefits of cross training
And more…
Walk/Jog
A - This program will take incorporate a combination of
combination of walking and jogging so by the end of 14 weeks you
will be comfortable with a 5 km or 3 mile distance. Full program
supplied so you have an idea of what to do during the rest of the
week. Very fun social atmosphere and you will be surrounded by lots
of energetic fun people sharing similar interests.
Walk/Jog B - This program will take incorporate
a combination of combination of walking and jogging so by the end
of 14 weeks you will be comfortable with a 10km or 6 mile distance.
Full program supplied so you have an idea of what to do during the
rest of the week. Very fun social atmosphere and you will be surrounded
by lots of energetic fun people sharing similar interests.
