Sprint Triathlon Clinic 2006

March 4th - May 22nd

This clinic is for beginners who hope to finish their first sprint distance triathlon at the North Shore Spring Triathlon (750m swim, 20k bike, 5k run) May 22, 2006.

If you have ever wondered if you could do a triathlon this clinic is for you! You need access to a bike and be somewhat comfortable riding. But we don't mind if it is a road bike or a mountain bike. Lots of people start in the sport of Triathlon on a mountain bike, and the North Shore race always has people competing on Mountain bikes. It is common to be leery of riding on roads and we aim to teach bike handling skills and rules of the road to help quell many of these fears. For swimming, you should be able to swim 50 meters or 2 lengths of a 25 m pool continuously and be able to run around the block without being out of breath.

In 11 weeks we will take you through all the necessary steps to complete your first Triathlon!

You will have four coached workouts a week, a program calendar, social nights, discounts on products from NSA and much more!

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, non threatening place for people to discover triathlon. Our philosophy is to help achieve individual goals through increased self confidence while enjoying the balanced and healthy life style that is triathlon.
